Odyssey System

The Odyssey system, featuring the huge 10.4" full colour display, is the largest in the remarkable MGL Advanced EFIS range.

The system package includes everything (including 4 EGT & CHT sensors) required for a fully functioning EFIS. The package includes the Odyssey panel and all modules (excepting I/O Extender), together with the engine and fuel flow sensors. Included items listed below:

• Odyssey panel (with integrated GPS, transponder encoder & 5 axis auto pilot);
• Engine module (12 channel - RDAC-XB);
• AH module (SP4);
• Compass module (SP2);
• GPS antenna;
• Ambient Air temperature sender;
• 4 x EGT plus 4 CHT sensors;
• MGL Fuel flow sensor;
• Cables connecting the GPS antenna, engine and other included modules to the Odyssey panel. EGT & CHT sensors connect to the engine module.

If additional EGT/CHT sensors are required, add $72 per EGT sender (threaded), $79 per EGT with integrated jubilee clamp, and $55 per CHT sensor (washer type). If manifold pressure is required the RDAC-XD engine module (additional cost) is required rather than the RDAC-XB.

If it is required, the I/O extender module can be specified - $303 (including current shunt). The I/O Extender extends the I/O interface capabilities of MGL EFIS systems and provides the capability for current monitoring. Functions like; remote operation of the Odyssey panel through control stick mounted buttons; flap position; undercarriage up/down/locked; door & hatch open/closed contacts, liquid level switches etc. can displayed on Odyssey screens. Similarly, alarms can be triggered (spoken voice/light/dialogue box).

Items not supplied in the package, include:

• I/O Extender module (see note above);
• Servos to suit the system's 5 axis auto pilot;
• Oil pressure, oil temperature, water temp senders can be supplied, but, existing senders which are fitted to engines can be used in virtually every instance.
• Back-up battery (sealed Gell cell, lead acid battery 3Ah or 4Ah)
• we can be supply (approx. $45 plus freight);
• or source from a local supplier (in Aust. Jaycar & Supacheap Autos).
• Fuel level senders (virtually any existing sender can be used) or we can supply.
• Any hardware (bolts, nuts, cable ties, etc.) required other than those which are supplied to secure the panel, the engine module.

Voyager System

The 8.4"display Voyager came into being to meet the clamour for a smaller 'Odyssey' to fit panels which would not accommodate the 10.4" display Odyssey - whilst retaining all of its industry leading features.

The Voyager system package includes everything (including 4 EGT & CHT sensors) required for a fully functioning EFIS. The package includes the Voyager panel and all modules (excepting I/O Extender), together with the engine and fuel flow sensors. Included items listed below:

Ultra Horizon XL System

The Ultra Horizon XL system, is a very capable monochrome EFIS system. Whilst not offering the industry leading features of the MGL Advanced EFIS range (Enigma/ Voyager/ Odyssey/ Explorer ) the Ultra leads the offering in its class and offers outstanding value.

The system package includes everything required for a fully functioning EFIS. It does not include the compass or AH modules which can be added to provide that functionality. The package includes the Ultra Horizon XL panel, plus the modules and sensors listed below:

• Ultra Horizon XL panel;
• Engine module (12 channel - RDAC-XB);
• Ambient Air temperature sender;
• MGL fuel flow sensor;
• 4 x EGT plus 4 CHT sensors;
• Cables connecting the engine and other included modules to the Ultra panel. EGT & CHT sensors connect to the engine module.

If manifold pressure is required a different engine module is required - the RDAC-XD (additional cost). If fuel flow is not required, the cost of the FF sender can be deducted from the cost of the package.

Items not supplied in the package, include:
